Hi, I am Stefanie Brandt.

I sort of stumbled into my photography business when I was in college. One day I picked up a camera my brother bought as an impulse buy at Costco. I immediately found a passion for the art of photography and began capturing the precious memories of family and close friends in Southern California, here in Northern California and beyond. Later, I received a camera of my own as a graduation gift and continued to fall in love with my new hobby, thus the original name “Just a Hobby Photography”. Over the years, my little hobby has grown to more than my little college self could have ever imagined and has become such a fun creative outlet for me outside of my full time job as an elementary school teacher (another passion of mine!).

I believe photography is more than a profession, it’s a passion. As an artist, I search for new ways to make a difference and freeze in time those fleeting moments you want to remember forever. Whether it's capturing the excitement of graduating and embarking on your entire future, or the first moments of newborn joy—my dream is to give people lasting memories of the most important moments of their lives. I'd love to help you change the way you look at those important moments and give you a way to not just look back and remember the moment, but remember the feeling of it as well.
